What is CYIA?

Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) is a short-term summer ministry program designed to train students (13yrs-college age) in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. Students attend a one-week training school where they learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child’s level, counsel a child for salvation, and lead a dynamic club ministry for kids.

Your training will be focused on preparing you to teach 5-Day Clubs®. These are neighborhood Bible clubs for children 60-90mins a day for five consecutive days during the summer. Our summer missionaries (YOU) teach exciting Bible lessons and true-to-life missionary stories. These clubs also include contests, singing, sharing, memorizing verses, and more fun ways to share the Gospel.

After this training, you will return to your local community and teach clubs at various locations with a team of other young people. These clubs take place out in the community with predominantly unsaved kids who don’t regularly attend church. You will be able to take the light of the Gospel to them in their apartment complexes, daycare centers, neighborhoods, and other community locations. ​

Cost: $400 (includes $25 application fee)

Please complete your application and pay. The $25 application fee must be paid at the time of application. The $375 must be paid by May 15. If your student needs financial help please contact us and we are happy to work with you to make sure you can come!
CEF maintains high standards concerning the protection of children at our clubs. Please fill out the background check here. If you have completed a background check within the last five years you do not need to redo it.
